Title: Emergency Services – Agreement to accept $15,000 for the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to accept $15,000 in grant funds under the FY2025-26 Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant Program to hire a qualified contractor to plan, oversee, and execute a full-scale exercise to test capabilities in response to a bulk energy incident for the term commencing retroactively 6/2/2026 through 6/30/2027. In turn, the County will meet its cost share requirement by contributing $4,053 of in-kind personnel costs for Hazmat team members to participate in the Bulk Energy Transportation Exercise and attend an international Hazmat conference.
